Clearing Relationships

JTM Investments operates as a branch office of Marion Bass Securities Corp. in Charlotte, N.C.  Marion Bass Securities has been registered with the SEC and NASD as a broker-dealer since 1979.  All of JTM's securities accounts are offered through Marion Bass and are cleared by Wexford Clearing Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Prudential Securities.  All accounts are, of course, insured by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation(SIPC).  While the foregoing may seem a little confusing it is very common for regional brokerage firms to clear their trades through a third party.  In this case we have an excellent clearing relationship with Wexford, and because of their relationship to Prudential we have access to one of the oldest, best capitalized, and most respected firms on Wall Street.
